Meet the legendary Konyak tribe in Mon, stand at Longwa where India and Myanmar meet, and discover the untouched beauty of the Dibang Valley as you make your way to Anini, one of the country’s most secluded destinations. Day wise itinerary:

Day 0

Arrival at Dibrugarh

Arrive in Dibrugarh, the gateway to Northeast India, where lush tea gardens and the mighty Brahmaputra set the tone for the journey ahead.
After hotel check-in, you’ll attend a detailed briefing covering the route, safety guidelines, and what to expect over the next few days.

Day 1

Dibrugarh to Mokokchung

The adventure begins as we ride into Nagaland, leaving behind the plains of Assam and gradually climbing into scenic hill roads. The route offers a mix of smooth stretches and winding terrain through dense forests and small villages. By evening, we arrive in Mokokchung, the cultural heartland of the AO Naga tribe, where you can soak in the local vibe.

Day 2

Mokokchung to Mon

Today’s ride takes us deeper into remote Nagaland, with increasingly rugged roads and raw, untouched landscapes. This is a long and challenging day, but also one of the most rewarding as we approach Mon, home to the fascinating Konyak tribe. The region feels truly off-the-grid, offering a glimpse into a unique way of life.

Day 3

Mon – Longwa – Mon

We ride to Longwa village, one of the most unique places in India, located right on the India–Myanmar border. Here, you’ll visit the home of the village chief, which interestingly lies in both countries. Spend time interacting with locals and learning about the rich history and traditions of the Konyak tribe before returning to Mon by evening.

Day 4

Mon to Roing

Today we transition from Nagaland into Arunachal Pradesh, entering a region known for its dramatic landscapes and pristine wilderness. The journey is long and adventurous, with changing terrain and remote stretches.
By evening, we reach Roing, a quiet and scenic town that serves as the gateway to the Dibang Valley.

Day 5

Roing to Anini

This is one of the most challenging and thrilling rides of the expedition. The route to Anini takes you through rugged mountain terrain, river crossings, and landslide-prone sections. The effort is well worth it, as the journey offers breath-taking views of untouched valleys and towering mountains. We reach Anini, one of India’s most remote destinations, by evening.

Day 6

Rest day in Anini

After an intense ride, today is reserved for rest and recovery. You can take short walks around the village, relax by the river, or simply soak in the silence and beauty of this remote Himalayan region. It’s the perfect opportunity to slow down and experience the simplicity of life here.

Day 7

Explore Anini

Today is dedicated to exploring the region around Anini. Visit nearby villages, interact with the local Idu Mishmi community, and enjoy the raw, untouched beauty of the landscape. Whether it’s photography, nature walks, or cultural immersion, this day offers a deeper connection with the region.

Day 8

Anini to Roing / Dambuk

We begin our journey back, retracing our path through the dramatic terrain of the Dibang Valley. Depending on road and weather conditions, we halt at Dambuk or continue onward to Roing. Though still challenging, the ride feels more relaxed as we descend from the higher, remote regions.

Day 9

Roing to Dibrugarh

Today’s ride is comparatively easier as we head back to Dibrugarh via the iconic Bhupen Hazarika Setu, India’s longest river bridge. The smooth roads and open stretches offer a refreshing change after days of rugged riding. In the evening, we gather for a farewell dinner and celebrate the journey.

Day 10

Departure

After breakfast, it’s time to check out and head to the airport for your onward journey.
You leave with unforgettable memories of remote landscapes, rich tribal cultures, and one of the most unique riding experiences in India.

Day 4

Arrival Leh Airport | 5km, 10min.
Padum to Gombok Ranjan The ride goes parallel to Zanskar river and has some good climbs as well. This day is the most adventurous day of this entire ride. Difficult roads make this ride challenging but the scenery around makes up for it. Today we will see the confluence of Zanskar & Tsarap River at Purne. There’s an old trekking route in Kurgyak Overnight stay at Gombak Ranjan. Get ready for some more excitement as we will be camping here tonight!

Day 5

Arrival Leh Airport | 5km, 10min.
Gombok Ranjan to Zangla A ride full of adventure. True Zanskar ride day! Overnight stay at Zangla..!

Day 6

Arrival Leh Airport | 5km, 10min.
Zangla to Leh Today, we will be passing through two passes names Singge La (16590 feet) and Sirsir La (15761 feet). These are probably India’s deepest gorges. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 7

Arrival Leh Airport | 5km, 10min.
Leh to Pangong What is Ladakh without Pangong lake? It is the gem of this region and no ride here is complete without witnessing the beauty of Pangong! So today we leave from Post breakfast, we will ride towards Changthang region. It is going to be a very beautiful and comfortable ride today. Serene landscapes everywhere, throuout the ride. Overnight stay at Pangong.

Day 8

Arrival Leh Airport | 5km, 10min.
Pangong to Nyoma After experiencing the serenity of Pangong Tso, we now move to the lesser explored region of Changthang! Today we will start our ride towards Nyoma. Nyoma is another beautiful village in Changthang region. It is a principal village in the region and has many Armed forces establishments. Overnight stay at in a cozy homestay in Nyoma

Day 9

Arrival Leh Airport | 5km, 10min.
Nyoma to Umling La & Back Post breakfast we will start our ride. This is a very important day of the ride as we will be riding to the Undoubtable Highest Motorable passUmling La which is at 19300 feet making it higher than Khardung La. This day is going the be the most memorable day of your life! Overnight stay at Nyoma

Day 10

Arrival Leh Airport | 5km, 10min.
Nyoma to Tso Moriri Post breakfst we will start our ride towards Tso Moriri.Tso moriri is another beautiful lake in the region. It is a sweet water lake and is offers some stunning landscapes around.The road for today is a good mix of tarmac, broken tarmac and off roads. It is going to be a fun day indeed. Overnight stay in a camp at Tso Moriri.

Day 11

Arrival Leh Airport | 5km, 10min.
Tso Moriri to Leh After experiencing the beauty of Tso moriri, we now ride to Leh. This is going to be our last day of ride. On this day, we will visit another lake called Tsokar. We conclude the ride today and discuss fun we had, break downs, falls over dinner 🙂 Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 12

Arrival Leh Airport | 5km, 10min.
Check out & Fly back. The ride ends here. Post breakfast, check out from the Hotel.
